Edward Dudley Gibson, 80, of Point Pleasant, WV passed away Monday, November 29, 2021 at Jackson General Hospital. He was born April 17, 1941, a son to the late Orvile Gibson and Nora Moore. Edward was a member of Sons of the Confederate Veterans.

He is preceded in death by; Wife, Ellen Gibson, Parents; Orville (Nora) Gibson, Brothers; James, David, Glenn, and Ricky Gibson, Sister; Shirley Massey.

Edward is survived by one brother; Wayne Gibson of Henderson, WV, Niece; Tina (Patrick) Hill of Henderson, WV. He will be missed by many extended families and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV with Pastor Joe Nott. Visitation will be one hour prior. Burial will follow at Sycamore Valley Cemetery in Henderson, WV. Social Distancing and Facemask's are recommended for everyone's safety. Deal Funeral Home is serving the family.
