Edith Marlene Fields, 89, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at Overbrook Nursing Home in Middleport, OH.

She was born November 30, 1936, in Mason County, WV, to the late Jesse and Lieulo (Cunningham) Roush.

Marlene was a homemaker and enjoyed playing bingo and working in her flower garden.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Warren Fields; and her siblings, Neva, Verla, Oscar, Ilena, Blain, Arnold, Anna and Jesse Jr.

She is survived by her children, Marty (Linda) Roush, Walt (Gail) Roush, Jeff (Kelly) Fields, Shawn (Faye) Fields, Deidra Ditoro, Jenni Fields and Jessi Fields; her brothers, Ed (Jane) Roush and Randall (Judy) Roush; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Overbrook Nursing Home and staff and Deal Funeral Home for all of their care during our time of need.
