Donald Nelson Forshee, 83, of Gallipolis Ferry, WV, passed away on September 24, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. He was born June 21, 1934, in Mason County, WV, a son to the late Frank Forshee and the late Maysil Barringer Forshee. He was a retired Maintenance Supervisor after 20 years of service from Pleasant Valley Hospital in Point Pleasant, WV.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Maysil Forshee; brother, Melvin and Eunice Forshee; sister, Doris Miller; and sister-in-law, Patty Forshee.

He is survived by his great nephew whom he raised, Alex and Beth Martin of Point Pleasant; and brother, David Forshee, nine nieces and nephews, and their families. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Funeral services will be held at the Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV, Sunday, October 1, 2017, at 1 PM, with Rev. Joe Nott officiating. Burial will follow in the Jordan Baptist Church Cemetery in Gallipolis Ferry, WV. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home from 12-1 PM prior to the service.
