Diane Gwen (Grimm) Bosworth,75, of Point Pleasant, WV, passed away peacefully at Ravenswood Village surrounded by family on March 31, 2024. She was born June 4, 1948, a daughter to the late Capt. Everette (Frances) Grimm. Diane was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School in Point Pleasant, WV in 1966 and attended St. Paul United Methodist Church. She worked at Ravenswood Aluminum Plant for several years.

Diane was preceded by her husband, Capt. Robert H. Bosworth II, and her parents Capt. Everette (Frances) Grimm and Nephew; Benson Shirley.

She is survived by her two children, Son; Robert H. Bosworth II (Raven) of Point Pleasant, WV and a daughter; Bridget Dawn Bosworth of Point Pleasant, WV. She always put her children and grandchildren first in everything she did. Also surviving are her siblings and grandchildren, Sisters; Elaine Hunt of Point Pleasant, WV, Jane (Keith) Shirley of Leon, WV, and Joan (Keith) Sargent of Point Pleasant, WV and Brother; Capt. Gilman "Les" Grimm of Holly Springs, NC, one granddaughter, Brittani, whom she affectionately called "doodlebug, (Robbi) Lewis of Point Pleasant, WV and one great-granddaughter, Bri Lewis of Point Pleasant, WV.

Diane has many family members along with Nieces, Nephews and Cousins who are too many to list, but she loved each and every one of them.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Diane at a later date to be announced by the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or to the Mason County Animal Shelter. Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV is serving the family.
