Derek Ray Riffle, 38, of Point Pleasant, WV passed away, Wednesday, August 25, 2021 unexpectedly at home. He was born May 21, 1983 in Point Pleasant, WV. Derek graduated from Point Pleasant High School.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ella and Edgar Riffle Sr, and other family members.

Derek is survived by his Mother and Stepfather; Anna and David Michael, Son; Gage Riffle, Sister; Brandy Michael (Dustin Spencer), Nephew; Branson Spencer, Niece; Presely "LuLu" Spencer, Special Aunt; Nancy Ackerman, Special Friends; Alisha Smith and Judith Phillips. Derek is expecting a baby boy.  He will be missed my many aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.

There will be a private service at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers family request that donations be made to Deal Funeral Home for the funeral expenses. Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV will be serving the family.
