Debbie L. Monson, 61 of Point Pleasant, WV passed away on Saturday, April 24,2021. Born on September 24, 1959 in Mansfield, OH, in Richland County, was the daughter of the late Frank and Betty (Lucas) Dickens. Debbie was a member of the VFW, American Legion and Point Pleasant Moose Lodge #731.

Debbie was a graduate from Rio Grande University with bachelor's in science for Social Services and Associates in Arts in 1993. She was a member of the who's who club while attending College. She was employed with Pleasant Valley Hospital and worked 28 years as a Social Worker.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, Frank and Betty (Lucas) Dickens and one sister Francis Dickens.

Debbie is survived by her daughter, Betty (Cary) Campbell of Leon, WV; son, Guy Monson of Greendale, Indiana; daughter, Randi Williams of Point Pleasant, WV; grandchildren, Michael Campbell, Chris Campbell of Gallipolis, OH, Chelsea Troy, Caitlin Campbell, and Cortney Campbell all from Point Pleasant, WV, Sidney Monson, Jacob Monson of Greendale, Indiana and Chris Lush, Miles Williams, Jazmin Williams all from Point Pleasant, WV. Debbie also leaves behind her best friends Victor and Candis Woodruff.  She is very loved by many family and friends. Debbie has a special friend her companion Jim Maynard of Pomeroy, OH.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 1 ^st , 2021, at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, with Pastor Jonathan Pinson officiating. Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant is serving the family. Social distancing will be observed, and face masks are required.
