David L. Forshee, 85, of Point Pleasant, WV passed away Friday, March 24, 2023, at Paramount Senior Living in Ona, WV. He was born November 21, 1937, a son to the late David Frank Forshee and Maysil Barringer. David was a proud member of the Boilermakers Local 667, He just received his 65-year service pin from the Boilermakers Local 667. He served in the United States Army as a paratrooper. David also loved to raise parrots.

He is preceded in death by, Wife; Patricia German Forshee, Sister; Doris Faye Miller, Brothers; Melvin and Donald Forshee.

David is survived by Children; Mona Smith, Tammy (David) Martin, Lori (Terry) Austin, David Bruce (Lesa) Forshee, Marc (Rachel) Forshee, Travis Forshee. He also leaves behind 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. He will be missed by many extended family and friends.

A private funeral will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at Deal Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Nott officiating. Burial will follow at Jordan Baptist Cemetery in Gallipolis Ferry, WV. Visitation will be held two hours prior on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, from 12:00 PM-2:00 PM. Deal Funeral Home is serving the family.
