Dale Lee Herdman, 78, of Leon, WV, went home to be with the Lord on June 4, 2018 at his home. He was born October 9, 1939, in Mason County, WV, a son to the late Charles Herdman and Helen Boles Herdman. He was disabled. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death with his parents Charles and Helen Herdman; and three sisters, Boots, Sue, and Charlene.

He is survived by his loving daughter and her family, Gale (Brian) Grindstaff of Hartford, WV; grandchildren, Tabitha "Tabby" (Tyler) Grindstaff Brewer of Mason, WV, and Ryan Grindstaff of Hartford; seven sisters, and four brothers; and special friend, Eleanor Keefer.

At Dale's request, there will be no visitation. Services and burial will be at the convenience of the family. Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV, is serving the family.
