Cora Alice Newell, 71, of Point Pleasant, WV passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at home. She was born June 6, 1950, a daughter to the late Raymond Neville and Myrtle Rice. Cora worked many years as a nurse's aide. She loved being around her family but most importantly, she loved her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; Harold Newell, Parents; Raymond (Myrtle) Neville.

Cora is survived by her sons; Michael (Hilda) Blankenship of Leon, WV, Jason Blankenship of Point Pleasant, WV, Daughters; Christie Fields of Leon, WV and Terri VanHoose of Point Pleasant, WV. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, whom she raised as her own, Robbie Merle, Halee VanHoose, Dakota McNeely and Wesley Hill. Cora is survived by her brother; Everrett "Patches" (Connie) Neville of Milton, WV; Several grandchildren, and Four great grandchildren. She will be missed by many extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be at 7:00 PM on Monday, April 18 ^th , 2022, at Deal Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Parsons officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Deal Funeral Home is serving the family.
