Clayton J. (Bear) Miller, 78, of Southside, WV, passed away with his loving family at his side at Pleasant Valley Hospital, on June 22, 2018. Clayton was born April 22, 1940, in Mason County, WV, a son to the late John Miller and Lorena Roach Miller.  He was a retired grounds keeper for Chief Corn Stalk Parks\ and a farmer.


Preceded in death with his parents are two brothers, Donald Miller and Denver Miller, and sisters, Rickey Ann Henry, Eva Mae Duncan, and Patty Russell.

He is survived by daughters, Tammy and her husband Beanie Mayes of Southside, and Ireta Vanmeter of Point Pleasant, WV;
his loving grandchildren, Amber Mayes & (Shawn Absten), Tabithe Mayes, Reba Vanmeter, Shae Vanmeter, and Sierra Vanmeter; one sister, Genevia Chapman, of Southside  WV;  several nieces and nephews, and a host of family and friends that will miss him.

Services will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV, at 1 PM, with Pastor Charles Dabney officiating.  Burial will follow in the Kirkland Memorial Gardens, Point Pleasant, WV.
