Clarence "Milford" Coleman, of Ashton, WV passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at Pleasant Valley Healthcare Center after a short illness. He was born in Southside, WV on October 7, 1933, a son to the late David Coleman and Clara Stover. He joined the United States Army from 1953-1955. Milford attended Moore's Chapel Church. He also was a member of Minerva Lodge #13 of Barboursville, WV, and Shriners.

Milford loved to sit on the porch and wave to anyone going by, he'd never met a stranger and was loved by so many. He enjoyed country life and farming.

He is preceded in death by, Daughter; Darlene Sturgeon, Parents; David (Clara) Coleman, Brothers; Vernon, Richard, Herbert, Chleo, Randall, Leo, Sam and Glenn, Coleman, Sisters; Infant Sister Ethel, Roxie Brown, Dorothy Campbell, and Opal Duncan, Sister-in-laws; Sue Price and Leona Potts.

Milford is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Sadie Coleman of Ashton, WV, Daughter; Kathy Tate of Salisbury, NC, Grandchildren; Trinity (Jamie) Dean of Ashton, WV,  Zachary (Tonya) Sturgeon of Ashton, WV, Desiree (Bobby) Hetrick of Salisbury, NC, and Patra (Colton) Paxton of Salisbury, NC, Great Grandchildren;  Keylee and Keyton Dean, Millie Sturgeon, Audrey Burris all of Ashton, WV, Robby and Rayleigh Hetrick, Asher and Payton Paxton all of Salisbury, NC, Son-in-law; Roger Sturgeon, Brother-in-law; Leonard Deal and Sister-in-law; Kay Houck. He will be missed by many extended family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 1, 2024, at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV with Pastor Charlie Langdon officiating. Burial will follow at Beale Chapel Cemetery in Apple Grove, WV. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM. Deal Funeral Home is serving the family.
