Charles "Punkin" Ray Thomas II, 60 of Letart, WV died suddenly at his home March 4, 2020. He was born on a Naval Base in Sasebo, Japan Aug. 22, 1959. He was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School, Class of 1977. He was employed at Imperial Electric in Middleport, OH and a member of IBEW Local #1587.

He was a great man who was willing to help anyone. He had a great smile and infectious laugh. He loved to travel, usually ending up at the beach, but also enjoyed camping with his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother Bonnie Thomas and brother-in-law Marvin Flowers. Grandparents Allen and Faye Thomas and Merton and Bessie Rollins.

He is survived by his sisters: Patricia (Marty) Shinn of Point Pleasant, Phyllis Flowers of Letart, Pam (Glenvor) Durst of Leon, and Paula (Brian) King of Letart. He also leaves behind nieces and nephews who loved him dearly: Marsha Crowder, Joel Shinn, Leah Parham, Jennifer Nance, Brandon Flowers, Cody Durst, Tanner King, and Tayllor King. Along with Great nieces and nephews who thought the world of him: Randy Parham, Maddy Parham, Lewis Crowder, Abigail Flowers, Isabella Nance, Bailey Nance, Blake Flowers, and Creed Flowers. Aunts Rosalie McDade, Carolyn Thomas, and June Thomas. And Uncle Jimmy (Evelyn) Rollins. He also leaves behind a host of cousins and countless friends. He is also survived by Cassie McFall who was like a daughter to him.

His services will be at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant at 1pm on Sunday March 8, 2020, with a viewing from 11am - 1pm. He will be buried at Bethel Cemetery in Leon, WV. Following his burial, there will be a reception in his honor at Guiding Star Church fellowship hall on Tombleson Rd, Letart, WV. If anyone would like to bring a dish or drinks it can be dropped off from 12 - 3 Sunday.
