Charles Ray "Chuck" Thomas, 83 of Letart, WV died Friday June 5,2020 while staying with his daughter in Missouri. He was a graduate of Point Pleasant High School, and joined the US Navy shortly afterwards. Being stationed in many different countries, Japan, Puerto Rico, Scotland, US, and Greenland, he was proud of his service to his country.

He was the son of Allen G. and Clessie Faye Thomas, who preceded him in death. Along with brothers: Joe, Bill, Wayne, and Keith. He was also recently preceded in death by his son Charles R. Thomas, II.

He is survived by daughters: Patricia (Marty) Shinn of Point Pleasant, Phyllis Flowers of Letart, Pamela (Glenvor) Durst of Leon, Paula (Brian) King of Letart, and Rachel Thomas of Missouri. He had 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

As per his wishes, he was cremated and there will be no services. His family has chosen to do a private family memorial for him.
