Charles William Holley, 90, of Ashton, WV, went home to be with his Lord on Monday October 1, 2018 while in Pleasant Valley Hospital, Point Pleasant, WV. He was born January 23, 1928, in Mason County, WV, a son to the late Samuel G. Holley and the late Anna Wolford Holley. He served his country honorably in the Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Palestine Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Anna Holley; his wife, Ferrell Louise Barker Holley   Son-In-Law, Frank Cooper. Siblings, Carl Holley, Emogene Black, Annabell Powell, Audrey Elkins, Hazel Holley, and Raymond Holley.

He is survived by his children, Danny  Holley of Groveland, Fla, Tim (Sara) Holley of Point Pleasant; daughter, and Lisa Holley Cooper of Gallipolis Ferry, WV; grandchildren, Andrea (Dave) Nibert, Cristy (Aaron) Hare, Allen Holley, Staci (Kevin) Irwin, Traci (Josh) Fields; great-grandchildren, Halen Nibert, Jalen Nibert, Ava Hare, Charlie Hare, Faith Irwin, Chloe Irwin, J.J. Fields, Kelly Fields, and Chelsea fields; honorary children, Chuck Fielder and Joyce Edmonds;and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 8, 2018, at 1 PM, at Deal Funeral Home, with Pastor Chuck Elkins officiating. Burial with full military honors conducted by American Legion Post #23 of Point Pleasant and the WV Army Honor Guard from Charleston, WV, will follow the funeral service at the Zion Cemetery in Ashton, WV.
