Charles E. Fluharty passed away peacefully on February 23, to be with his beloved wife Juanita on their 75 ^th anniversary.  Born January 30, 1925, in Wetzel County, WV.  Charles is survived and missed by his daughter, Charlene Westwood of Point Pleasant, WV, Son, Dr. Walter Fluharty of Akron, OH, Granddaughter Sunshine Scherer, Hudson, OH, Grandson Brandon Fluharty of Sarasota, and his Great Granddaughter Elsa Scherer.

Charles retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., where he began his career as a Chemist after teaching High School Chemistry for many years. Charles loved his family, his church family and golf.

A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV with David Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Kirkland Memorial Gardens in Point Pleasant, WV. Visitation is one hour prior to the service on Tuesday, February 28, 2023. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in his name to the Diabetes Association of America. Deal Funeral Home is serving the family.
