Carol Sue Young, 61, of Point Pleasant, WV went home to be with the Lord surrounded by her family, January 24, 2021. She was born April 7, 1959, in Gallia County, OH, a daughter to the late Edsel Hughes and the late Carol Rose Hughes. She was a farmer at heart. She also dearly loved her church family from Bellemeade U.M. Church in Point Pleasant. She was a kind and giving soul and enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Edsel and Carol Hughes; and her beloved husband, Cecil Young.

She is survived by her son, James (Wanita) Pullins of Point Pleasant; granddaughter, Eliza Kubasik of Point Pleasant; great grandsons, Austin and Levi Dean of Point Pleasant, and great granddaughter, Audrey Dean also of Point Pleasant; sister, Rosemary (Raymond) Lewis of West Columbia, WV; niece, Mary Ruth Lewis of West Columbia; great niece, Blair Rose Lewis also of West Columbia; aunts, Reba, Ruth, and Opal Hughes; special friends, Brenda Vanderhoof and Helen Plants; her church friends from Bellemead Church, and her furry friend Copper the dog, and Izzy the Iguana.

A graveside service will be held at Harmony Cemetery in Southside, WV, Wednesday, January 27, 2021, at 1:30 PM. Carol's friends may pay their final respects at Bellemeade Church parking lot at 1 PM, where Rev. Chip Bennett will officiate the service over the radio.
