Carol Jean Halstead, age 51, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2026. She was born on June 30, 1975, to Reva Jean Cummings and was raised in Hurricane, West Virginia.

Carol had a passion for her work as a cosmetologist. She took great pride in her work and in the relationships she built with those around her. Her caring heart, warm spirit, and genuine love for others will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Carol was preceded in death by her father, Lee Roy Cummings.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 14 years, John Halstead; her beloved daughter, Natasha (Jonathan) Reitmire; and her cherished grandson, Bryson Middleton. She is also survived by her brother, David (Nicole) Isner; and her nieces, Evelyn and Emory Isner.

Per her wishes, no services will be held at this time.
