Carol Ann Dabney, 54, of Southside, WV, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, January 7, 2018 at St. Mary's Hospital in Huntington, WV, surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 12, 1963, in Mason County, WV, a daughter to the late Carl Gillispie and Edna B. Christy. She was a homemaker. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and a friend to all. She was also a member of the Millstone Church in Apple Grove.

She is preceded in death by her parents; son Robbie Dabney; son in law, Josh Baird, and several nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Charlie Dabney of Southside; daughters, Kelsey (Sean) Rogers of Southside, and Samantha (Derek) Sanders of Gahanna, OH; brother, Steven Lewis Gillispie; grandchildren, Elijah Baird, Elizabeth Baird, Eriella Baird, Veeda Sanders, Charlie Smith, and Cordellya Smith; several other extended family, friends and neighbors. She will be sadly missed by all.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 11, 2018, at 1 PM, at the Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV, with Kathy Searls officiating. Burial will follow in the Loggerhead Cemetery.
