Carl F. Boswell, 88, of Leon, WV passed away Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Emogene Dolin Hospice House in Huntington, WV. He was born in Leon, WV on March 31, 1935, a son to the late Marshall Boswell and Mary Miller Boswell Kimberling. Carl worked many years in construction. If you knew him, you knew he loved to talk; he'd never met a stranger. He enjoyed being outdoors, mowing grass.

He is preceded in death by; wife, Garnette Boswell, father; Marshall Boswell, mother; Mary Kimberling, brothers; Charles Boswell, Ernest "Red" Boswell, Dencil Kimberling, sister; Mary "Nubbin" Runion.

Carl is survived by, daughters; Patricia "Pat" Boswell of Huntington, WV, Nancy (Mike) Donelson of Parkersburg, WV, and Martha "Marty" Boswell of Leon, WV, grandchildren; Eric (Seyang) Cunningham of Arlington, VA, Madisyn Boswell (Tanner) of Huntington, WV, Emily Cunningham of Parkersburg, WV and Erin (Gavin) James of Florence, MS, great grandchild; June Cunningham of Arlington, VA. He also leaves behind, brother; James (Mary) Kimberling of Point Pleasant, WV, and Kenny Kimberling of Gallipolis, OH, sister; Bonnie (Steve) Crouse of Gallipolis, OH. Carl will be missed by many extended family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 28th, 2023, at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV. Burial will follow at Craig Douglas Cemetery in Arbuckle, WV.
