Buelah Ellen Wright, 81, of Ashton, WV passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born June 8, 1942, a daughter to the late Edison Mayes Sr. and Vina Mayes. She was a faithful member of Christian Valley Church of Christ. Buelah loved planting flowers.

She is preceded in death by; Parents; Edison "Pudim" (Vina) Mayes Sr, Brothers; Wellman "Cotton" Mayes, Edison "Bug" Mayes Jr, Ervin Mayes, Pearl Wesley "Bill" Mayes, Sister; Evelyn "Sis" Thorton and infant sister and special uncle Russell Mayes.

Buelah is survived by her husband of 65 years, Ronnie Wright, Daughters; Joyce Blake and Debbie Morrison, Grandchildren; Carletta Williams, Lisa (Austin) Whitt, Ronnie Morrison and Matt (Dawn) Morrison, Great Grandchildren; Mason (Vy) Allen, Xander and Aubrey Williams, Brothers; James "Joe" (Mary) Mayes, Ralph "Sam" Mayes, Sisters; Janice Stevens and Nancy Deal. She will be missed by numerous special nieces and nephews, brothers and sister in laws, which she loved dearly.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 10, 2023, at Deal Funeral Home with Pastor Greg Potter. Burial will follow at Crist Cemetery in Ashton, WV. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1:00PM to 2:00PM. Deal Funeral Home is serving the family.
