Bucky Jordan, 73 years old of Henderson, WV, passed away on October 5, 2017, at home with his loving family at his side. He was born November 15, 1943, in Mason, WV. Bucky was the son of the late Everett Jordan and Carrie Dye Jordan. He was a truck driver and retired after 30 years of service. He served in the Army for four years and also a member of American Legion Post #23. He was a member of the Gospel Tabernacle Church in Point Pleaant

He is preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Joyce Baugess, brothers, Harry, Ralph, and Johnny Jordan; sisters, Helen Meyers, Ruby Rasor, Reba Marcum, and Beulah Bechtle.

He is survived by his wife Naomi Jordan; sons, Larry (Paige) Jordan of Richwood, OH, Kevin Jordan (Amy) of Point Pleasant, WV, and Trenda (Denver) Jordan of Vinton, OH. Step-children Danny (Kendra) of Southside, WV, Chuck (Keri) Chapman of Point Pleasant, WV, Grandchildren, Zachary, Isaac, Kassidy Jordan and Dakota Garber; Step-grandchildren, Justice, Miranda, Haleigh, Kaylee, Hunter Chapman and Crissy Dabbs; brothers and sisters, Willie, Donald, Jim Jordan, Jewell Durst and Phyllis Bonecutter, all of Gallipolis Ferry.


Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 8, 2017, at 2 PM
at the Deal Funeral Home with Bert Flora and David Washington officiating. Singing will be conducted by Shelby and Kathy Searls. Full Military Graveside Rites will be conducted on Sunday by the WV Honor Guard and American Post 23# of Point Pleasant, WV.
