Brenda Woods Hussell, 65, of Hartford, WV, passed away after a brief illness August 4, 2020 surrounded by her family. Brenda was a 1973 graduate of Point Pleasant High School. She was born July 16, 1955, a daughter to the late Rev. Bobby and Ruth Woods.

She is survived by her loving husband of over 45 years, Bruce Hussell, and son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Kristen Hussell, and granddaughters Maggie and Gracie.

Brenda and Bruce recently retired after spending most of their life in St. Louis, MO until moving back to West Virginia to be with family and mostly to spend time with Maggie and Gracie. The twins were the highlight of her life.

Brenda also leaves behind sisters, Evelyn Weaver and Kathy Gardner; brothers, Edgar "Eddie" and Craig Woods.

As per Brenda's wishes, a graveside service will be held at Kirkland Memorial Gardens, Point Pleasant, WV, Friday, August 7, 2020, at 11 AM, with Rev. John Bumgardner officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Bend Area Care and Toys for Tots. Following state guidelines for Covid, social distancing and facemasks will be required. Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant is serving the family.
