Bonnie May Long, 81, of Apple Grove, WV, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2019 while at Pleasant Valley Hospital.  She was born October 12, 1938, in Mason County, WV, a daughter to the late Earl R. Stover and the late Lucy Gaye Allen. She was a home maker and attended Barton Chapel Church in apple Grove, WV.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Rayburn Long; brothers, Jimmy Stover, and Harold Stover; sister, Comella Woods.

She is survived by her children, Lynn (Ron) White of Apple Grove, WV, Jean Long of Point Pleasant, and Doris (John) Settle of Apple Grove; brothers, Benny (Lois) Stover and Brady (Amy) Stover, both of Gallipolis Ferry, WV; sisters, Thelma Crist of Marysville, OH, and Kathy (Bill) Lawrence of Apple Grove; grandchildren, Leslie (Craig) Plants, DJ White (Keira Smith), Daniel (Devin) Settle, Mickey Settle, and Bradley Settle (Kiersten Kelley); great-grandchildren, Remi, Reagan, Raylynn Settle, Ethan and Eli Plants. She will be greatly missed by all.

Funeral services will be held at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, Sunday December 1, 2019 at 2 PM with Ronnie Long and Tammy Woods officiating. Burial will follow in Potts Chapel cemetery in Apple Grove. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home from 11-2 PM prior to the service.
