Beulah M. Clark, 86, of Nelsonville, OH, passed away August 25, 2020 surrounded by her family. She was born March 29, 1934, in Mason County, WV, a daughter to the late James Gordon Hughes and Dicie Hall Hughes. She was a paralegal for over 52 years, and worked for Barkin & Neff PLC, in Columbus, OH until she retired. She also was a member of the Henderson Tabernacle.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Dicie Hughes; her beloved husband of over 55 years, James William Clark; brother, James Edsel Hughes; sisters, Enna Newman, Inez Denny, Leva Hughes; and son in law, Charles "Dick" Hall.

Beulah is survived by her daughters, Lynn Hall and Pam (George) Marcinko of Pickerington, OH; siblings, Opal Hughes of Gallipolis, OH, Reba Hughes of Point Pleasant, and Ruth Hughes of Parkersburg, WV; grandchildren, James Walworth of Brimerton, WA, John "Brian" (Maggie) Marcinko of Pittsburg, PA, Annie Marcinko of Lexington, KY, and Sarah (Matt) Spillman of Nelsonville, OH; 9 great grandchildren, several extended family members, friends, and neighbors. She will be sorely missed by all.

The family wants to thank Ohio Health Hospice of Athens, OH, and the staff of O'Bleness Hospital also in Athens.

Due to Covid restrictions, a memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Private burial will be in Beech Hill Cemetery in Southside, WV, Friday, August 28, 2020. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Deal Funeral Home to help with burial expenses. Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV, is serving the family.
