Betty Jo Nibert, 79, of Gallipolis Ferry, WV, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, September 22, 2018, while at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born February 15, 1939, in Mason County, WV, a daughter to the late Clayton Shuler and the late Mable Duncan Shuler. She was a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clayton & Mable Shuler; Husband  Richard "Rich" Nibert  son, Ricky Nibert; granddaughter, Lisa Nibert; and brothers, Tom Shuler and Charles Hines.

She is survived by her son Denny Nibert of Gallipolis Ferry, WV; daughter, Sheila Nibert of Gallipolis Ferry; sisters, Helen Martin and Janet (Kerr) Baird, both of Gallipolis Ferry; grandchildren, Denny (April) Nibert Jr, Mellissa (Travis) Taynor, and Jarrod (Kristi) O'Dell; great-grandchildren, Destiny Taynor, Kaylee Taynor, Jarrica Nibert, Braylon Taynor, Shala Nibert, James Nibert, Gavin Reynolds, Hunter O'Dell, and Isabella O'Dell. She will be greatly missed by all.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 27, 2018, at Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV, at 1 PM, with Pastor David Washington officiating. Burial will follow in Beale Chapel Cemetery in Apple Grove, WV. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home from 11-1 PM prior to the service. Online condolences can be made at dealfh.com.
