Betty McCoy, 74, of Point Pleasant, WV, passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2017, at Huntington Health and Rehabilitation Center, in Huntington, WV. She was born May 26, 1943, in Jackson County, WV, a daughter to the late William Henry Hogsett and Hattie Emily Chancey Hogsett. She was a homemaker.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by two brothers, Jim (Charlotte) Hogsett of Mt. Vernon, MO, and William Henry Hogsett of Texas, as well as two nieces.

Funeral services will be held at the Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, Thursday, October 26, 2017, at 11 AM, with Rev. Ross Thornton and Rev. John Bumgarner officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery in Flatrock, WV. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home on Thursday, from 10-11 AM, prior to the service.
