Bertha Pauline Slayton Kinniard, 96, of Point Pleasant, WV passed away on Thursday July 28, 2022, at Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehab Center. She was born on May 6, 1926, a daughter to the late Daniel E Slayton Sr and Ella Mae Long. In the late 40s, she worked for Sylvania Plant in Point Pleasant and Garlock Manufacturing, as seamstress until the early 70s.

Mrs. Kinniard was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel (Ella) Slayton, Brothers; Daniel, Walter and George Slayton, Sisters; Jenny and Betty.

She is survived by Sons; Daniel and Jerry, Sister; Sarah Slayton, Granddaughters; Jennifer and Heather and one great grandson James. She will be missed by many extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at Deal Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior. A private burial will be held at Beale Chapel Cemetery. Deal Funeral Home is serving the family.
