Alice Virginia Smith, 82, of Leon, WV passed away Friday, June 23, 2017 at home with her loving family by her side. She was born in Anstead, WV a daughter to the late Adolph Schott Jr. and Lizzy Warren Schott. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Mary Lyons, John Richard Schott, Betty Wood, and a granddaughter, Heather Nicole Smith.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Charles Smith of Leon, WV, and two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and (Vickie) Smith Jr. of Leon, WV and Todd "Mick" and (Rosalee) Smith of Leon, WV, grandchildren, Natasha and (Jeremy) Craft of Lawrenceville, GA, Andy Smith of Leon, WV, KyAnne and (Brett) Morris of Charleston, SC, Skye and (Melvin) Matheny of Barboursville, WV and Charmee and (Brian) Peach of Huntington, WV and three great-granddaughters and two great- grandsons and her siblings, Norma Russo, Helen Pridemore and Gene Schott.

Services will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at the Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant, WV with the Rev. Robert Osborne officiating. Burial will be in the Forrest Hills Cemetery, Point Pleasant, WV. Friends may visit the family from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 27, 2017.
