Alice Margaret Nibert Stover, 79, of Gallipolis, OH, went home to be with the Lord June 28, 2018, at home surrounded by her family. She was born April 1, 1939, in Gallia County, OH, a daughter to the late Willis William Nibert Sr. and Hattie Marie Gardner Nibert. She was a school teacher for the State of Ohio for over 40 years. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Gallipolis.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Willis and Hattie Nibert; her husband, George Stover; sister, Judy K. Warren; and brother, Willis William Nibert Jr.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Debbie (Harvey) Hornsby of Gallipolis granddaughter, Crystal (Nate) Cooper of Gallipolis; great-granddaughter, Alana Grace Smith of Gallipolis; sisters, Ruby Marie McCoy, Deloris Faye Spencer, Reva Belle Sines, and Brenda (Terry) Cantrell of Gallipolis; and brother, John E. Nibert. She will be greatly missed by all.
Funeral services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Gallipolis, OH, (on Rt. 160), Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at 2 PM, with Brother Ken Vickers and Bishop Bob Wings officiating. Burial will follow in the Rife Cemetery also in Gallipolis. Friends may visit the family at the church from 12-2 PM prior to the service. Deal Funeral Home in Point Pleasant is serving the family.
